Als puber draaide John al, maar daarna lang niet. Tot in 2013 iemand 50 werd en hem vroeg: “Deed je vroeger bèst leuk!” Aangemoedigd door Ineke, draaide John met plezier en op de terugweg ontkiemde hun initiatief om een paar keer per jaar een avondje te gewoonlekkerdansen.nl met vrienden en vrienden-van-vrienden. Waar Bert als een van de eerste enthousiast van werd en aan mee ging doen.
